Jaipur, October 4: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will interact with the newly elected mayors and deputy mayors of municipal corporations, as well as the chairpersons and deputy chairpersons of municipal councils and municipalities, through video conferencing on Monday (October 5). During the interaction, the Chief Minister will discuss with the newly elected heads and deputy heads the 100-day action plan of the respective urban local bodies, along with the development of urban infrastructure, cleanliness, water, electricity, and other public amenities.
The Chief Minister held a meeting with officials at the Chief Minister’s Residence on Sunday and issued directions regarding preparations for this interaction. The Chief Minister said that, with the participation of newly elected councillors and other public representatives, coordinated efforts by the State Government and local bodies would be undertaken to give new momentum to urban development in accordance with local requirements.
Chief Secretary V. Srinivas joined the meeting through video conferencing. Additional Chief Secretary (CMO) Akhil Arora, Additional Chief Secretary (UDH) Alok Gupta, along with senior officials of the concerned departments, were also present.
