Chief Minister's visit to Khairthal-Tijara                                                         

Khairthal-Tijara will become the country's leading industrial hub

 unprecedented work done in water, electricity, and road sectors

corruption in cooperatives eliminated with 1 million members added; youth and women being further empowered

Jaipur, September 28. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma stated that in the coming days, Khairthal-Tijara will play a vital role as a major industrial hub, not only in Rajasthan but across the country. With its proximity to Delhi-NCR, the Bhiwadi industrial area, improved connectivity, and the positive efforts of the double-engine government, this region is rapidly emerging. The government is committed to continuously expanding the necessary facilities for its overall development, smooth transportation, and administrative strengthening.

At a program held in Khairthal on Monday, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 95 projects worth ₹117 crore for the development of Alwar, Khairthal-Tijara, and Kotputli-Behror. He stated that the Double-Engine government has eliminated corruption in the cooperative sector and activated cooperative societies down to the village panchayat level. This is why nearly 1 million new members have joined cooperatives. Furthermore, milk production has increased from 3.4 million liters per day to 4.7 million liters over the last two and a half years. In addition to the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), the state government is providing an additional Samman Nidhi for farmers.

The Chief Minister made several important announcements for the Khairthal-Tijara region:

·         Work on the Neemrana Dam will commence as part of the Ramjal Setu Link Project.

·         Development work will begin on the 45-meter Master Plan Road.

·         Road strengthening will take place from Tijara to the Haryana border at Firozpur.

·         A new post for an Executive Engineer will be created for the PHED.

·         A new Executive Engineer Office will be established for JVVNL.

The Chief Minister stated that along with increasing skill development and employment opportunities for youth, women are being empowered toward self-reliance. In addition to providing 190,000 government jobs to youth, recruitment for another 122,000 posts is currently underway. The number of women beneficiaries under the Lakhpati Didi Scheme has increased from approximately 1.1 million to 1.9 million. Over 57,000 self-help groups have been connected, and loans worth ₹928 crore have been provided. Similarly, funds for the Scooty Scheme for female students and uniforms for male students are being transferred directly to their bank accounts.

The Chief Minister highlighted that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, four historic water agreements have been signed: the Ramjal Setu Link Project, the Yamuna Water Agreement, the Narmada Water Agreement, and the Kishau Multipurpose Project. Furthermore, under the Jal Jeevan Mission, over 1.5 million rural families in the state have been provided with tap water. Unprecedented work is also being carried out in the power sector, including providing daytime electricity to farmers across 26 districts.

 

Gifts for Alwar, Khairthal-Tijara, and Kotputli-Behror

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for 72 development projects, including libraries, parks, Gaushalas, farmer service centers, and playgrounds, to strengthen the road network in the region. Similarly, 23 development projects related to roads, education, and other essential amenities were inaugurated. He noted that 10,000 kilometers of missing link roads have been constructed. Work has been approved for 327 Atal Pragati Paths, for which ₹813 crore has been sanctioned, and 282 projects have already been completed. Action is also underway to extend the proposed RRTS from the Delhi-Haryana region to Behror and further out to Kotputli.

Union Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Minister Bhupendra Yadav stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, work is underway to develop the Khairthal region by fulfilling the needs for a district headquarters, medical college, stadium, and bus stand. By connecting Bhiwadi's industrial development with the entire Khairthal district, all-round progress is being ensured.

Minister of State for Forest and Environment (Independent Charge) GoR, Sanjay Sharma, stated that the Chief Minister has allocated budgets to all 200 assembly constituencies in Rajasthan without any discrimination. He noted that most of the projects announced by the government are nearing completion, and foundation stones for several new projects are being laid.

MLAs Mahant Balaknath, Sukhwant Singh, Kuldeep Dhankad, Hansraj Patel, and Devi Singh Shekhawat, Alwar Mayor Sumanlata Agarwal, alongside other public representatives and a large number of citizens, were present.
