Jaipur, September 25. Rajya Sabha MP Nitin Nabin said that making life meaningful by fulfilling one’s responsibilities towards the nation is the true measure of success. While becoming a good engineer, doctor or entrepreneur is important, becoming a good human being and a good citizen is even more important. He urged the youth to always have a larger vision and think big, saying that if one undertakes any task with complete dedication and commitment, success is certain.

Addressing the Yuva Samvad programme organised at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur on Friday under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan, Nitin Nabin said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has instilled confidence among the youth of the country to believe in their own capabilities and contribute to the progress of the nation. He said that to realise the resolve of Viksit Bharat, the 1.4 billion citizens of the country will have to move forward together.

He said that one should never make shortcuts a way of life. He said that life is not a 100-metre race but a long-distance race. Therefore, instead of being discouraged by failures in life, one should continue making persistent efforts towards one’s goals with the spirit of ‘Nation First’. He also encouraged the youth to use Artificial Intelligence positively rather than misuse it.

Addressing the programme, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma called upon the youth to serve the nation while remaining sensitive towards society. He said that the youth of the country are its greatest strength for building Viksit Bharat@2047. He said that youth power must shape the future through Perform, Reform and Transform. He said that the Double-Engine Government is continuously providing new opportunities to the youth to advance in the fields of education, skill development, employment, entrepreneurship, sports, and leadership.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched several initiatives, including the National Education Policy, Skill India Mission and Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, to promote the progress of the country's youth. At the same time, platforms and initiatives such as MY Bharat, Startup India, Digital India and PM MUDRA Yojana are providing new opportunities for employment and self-employment to the youth.

The Chief Minister said that several initiatives, including the Rajasthan Youth Policy and State Skill Policy, have also been implemented in the state for the youth. In the last two and a half years, appointments have been provided to more than 1.90 lakh youth in govt. jobs without paper leaks, while recruitment to 1.22 lakh posts is currently under process. He said that the State Government stands with the youth at every step in helping them realise their dreams.

During the programme, the youth shared their experiences and future plans. They also expressed their commitment towards Viksit Bharat and Viksit Rajasthan. The youth also expressed gratitude for the welfare schemes of the Central and State Governments.

Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore, along with young talents from various fields and a large number of youth, was present on the occasion. Youth from across the state also joined the programme via VC.
